Malakhai Jonezs is my site created for written self expression (sometimes drawings).  I write for fun, entertainment, exploration, and introspection.  More reasons on why I write and how I began are all woven into the stories and writings contained in this site.

I really appreciate you stopping by and giving my words oxygen.  I hope you enjoy reading what I enjoyed creating.

  1. I’m happy you now have a place to express your creative self. So many people stuff their passions deep inside and never breath life into them, letting them wither and die a slow death. Words, whether poetry or prose, are a thing of beauty.

      1. Thank you, Malakhai! I’m really picky about who I follow anymore–too many blogs, not enough time–but I will hit follow on yours. I truly enjoy your writing.
And btw, my friends know me as Cathy. 🙂

  2. I can’t believe I never read this before. Usually I’m super nosy, lol. No wonder I like you so much! Computer nerds are my favorite, lol. Do you have any drawings on here? I’d love to see. I draw too but not often.
I like all your pictures too. Shows more of your personality. 🙂

    1. I looked up at the beginning portion of this and laughed. I was in the middle of reading the story of you and Tomas, the garage door guy. The post Alesssandra Blurr has one of my drawings. I don’t really draw all that much now. I use it mainly to diagram things on white boards when I’m trying to explain something to my reports (sad to say). What made you go to this page today?

      1. Ha ha, I wish it was me and Tomas. Sadly, I just looked from afar and admired him. 🙂
I don’t draw much now either but I want to start again. I will look up that post.
I am nosy, like I said. I don’t know that I’d ever been to your actual site, instead reading everything from the reader. So, that’s usually my first stop- About page. 😛

      2. Oh and I wasn’t even in the gutter. Have you read my posts. I keep my demons locked away deep. I have an image to uphold. 🙂

  3. Hi Malakhai! I nominated you for the 3 Day Quote Challenge. Feel free to accept or decline! I just thought of you because music was my first theme and you told me you always write with a song in mind which is why you have such great rhythm with your language.

  4. Hi Malakhai. I’m drooling over your wordpress site. This is what I’ve been trying to achieve with my free subscription, but am not sure it’s possible. I want a clearinghouse, a hub, for my writing–like this site. What’s the name of your theme? Though I’ve already put a lot of work into the one I want to launch, I would start over if I could approach this organization.

    1. Hi Jiuhl / Kecia? Not sure which to use so I’ll use both. The theme I’m using is Marquee. It’s a paid for theme. I’ve had at least, 3 themes over the life of this site. I tried out different versions as my site grew with content, for better organization. Thanks for the compliment! Your subscription model is very interesting. I’ve never thought about doing that. Then again, I do this for fun and I don’t think I’m at a quality level to attract paid viewership yet. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      1. Marquee. Thanks. I write for fun, too. No subscriptions. A couple people have bought me cups of coffee, which is ridiculously nice and makes me feel great, but there’s no real monetary recompense for the free stuff I’m publishing. I want to share more of my work, which is why I’m trying to get it organized. Sounds like I might have to break open a piggy bank. Thanks for the information.

  5. Holy crap-I was right you are smart. I am smart on the other side of the brain- mathematically and spatially illiterate. But In 6th grade I had college level reading comprehension. And your like NASA smart holy crap- yeah totally smart in a different way, but super cool that we connect anyway.

    1. I don’t know about smart. I had an opportunity. What’s important is to think and we can all do that. Supposedly smart people do some pretty dumb things. But I know where you are coming from. And thanks.

      1. Yup you are right about that – it’s called live life to the fullest because your smart enough to know to do that. At least that’s my opinions. And us humans we never give ourselves enough credit
