Yes it does and it’s almost 100 years old. 🙂 Did you just say, “dang?” Too funny. Been using that word my entire life.
AHHH! I am a self described ‘cornball’. I use words like dang all the time! But seriously I do love this quote. Upton Sinclair was a realist muckraker (what we would today call a whistle blower, I guess…) It seems to me that too many people are stuck in this unfortunate position.
I agree on the whistle blower tittle. It’s becoming increasingly harder to field these people to have checks on the system.
Yes. ‘Fake News’ phenomenon, anyone? Which is another reason why I love the blogosphere, people are at least telling it like it is, to the best of their knowledge.
