What I Hear, What I See

Some people have commented on my writing style as being very musical. Like most of you, I listen to a lot of music across all genres. If I am trying to tap into the right emotion for a piece I search for the right song in my catalog. Sometimes, I hear a new musical piece and I see everything in front of my eyes and I simply write what I see. In many ways, it’s how I hear music – I see it. Here is a list of some of the songs that heavily influenced some of the works on my site. It’d be interesting to see if you all could match the song to the post. There are some gimmes in here.

  1. Wow, great selections! I’ve never heard O’Halloran or that sweet honey voice of Aiko, so thanks for the introduction. And of course love that Coltrane song. I’m impressed you can write to music.

    1. Thanks Gospel. I don’t know any other way to do it – I just write to it. :). It’s the only way I’ve ever done it. :). I’m happy you found some music you heard before. I like hearing new stuff too. Send some selections back my way.
